THE FIRM SANKE

3 days after celebration of the 44th anniversary of Mali's independance - the country of entrepreneurs and great travelers. A national pride, again another great celebration where the president of the republic of Mali, his excellence Amadou Toumani Touré, personally participated.

To honour more than 3 years of works, not less than 2000 people took part in this ceremony of inauguration of the SANKE depot the 25th of September 2004, in the suburb of Bamako, capital of Mali. The depot, of volume of 15 million litres, represents 40% of the national storage capacity of Mali.

The guests, notably from the oil and finance sectors, came from England, Ghana, Nigeria, France, Togo, Sénégal, Ivoiry Coast, etc... They participated in this event which represented a major achievement first of all for Group SANKE, then for Mali and Africa. This is because the SANKE Depot is the first of its kind in the sub region.

Inauguration of the SANKE Depot deserves to be celebrated with dignity and pride for the whole country.

This inauguration ceremony will engrave its place in the history as it symbolises a new freedom in independent provisioning of the oil products. So many years of effort finally crowned with success...
